Responsabilidad social corporativa > Our People
Our employees are the heart of a culture of caring that supports health and well-being for our members, customers and communities.
Our nearly 1,300 Oklahoma employees are committed to standing with our members and communities, through it all. And they bring this commitment to life in their work and with thousands of hours as volunteers.
volunteer hours
Showing up in our communities is a vital part of our culture. In 2024, 495 employees volunteered more than 11,400 hours with more than 290 nonprofit organizations across Oklahoma. By logging their hours with our Blue CorpsSM program, they generated more than $56,000 in matching donations for 77 organizations.
Sarah Chapman, our 2024 Volunteer of the Year, volunteered more than 230 hours with several organizations, including Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army and Iron Gate, which feeds people in need with a soup kitchen and food pantry.
"At any point, we could be a person needing that service," said Chapman, a coding investigator auditor. "I'm thankful to volunteer and show support, care and compassion."
Meet Sarah Chapman, who dedicated more than 230 hours to Tulsa-area nonprofit organizations in 2024.
Recognizing, respecting and celebrating unique experiences and perspectives helps our employees better serve our members and offer products and services that meet their needs.
In 2024, more than 420 employees participated in one or more of our seven Business Resource Groups.
The BRGs provide all employees the opportunity to connect with others who share similar interests, fostering a sense of community inside and outside of work. The groups engage in community-focused volunteer activities and provide a critical connection to the business.
